Admission Requirements & Regulations for Departments

First: Information Systems Division

Applicants may be admitted from the following educational backgrounds:

  • General Secondary Certificate (both Science and Arts streams), or equivalent Arab and international certificates.
  • Industrial Secondary School (three-year and five-year systems).
  • Commercial Secondary School (three-year and five-year systems).
  • Technical Commercial Institute Diploma.
  • Technical Industrial Institute Diploma.
  • Al-Azhar Secondary Certificate (Industrial track), Industrial Apprenticeship graduates, and graduates of Don Bosco schools.

Graduates of Technical Commercial Institutes specializing in Business Information Systems may be admitted directly into the second year, provided they have obtained at least a “Good” overall grade, complete the required course equivalency, and receive approval from the Commercial Sector Committee for admission to the institute.

Second: Tourism & Hospitality Division

Applicants may be accepted from the following educational backgrounds:

  • General Secondary Certificate (both Science and Arts streams), or equivalent Arab and international certificates.
  • Commercial Secondary School (three-year and five-year systems).
  • Technical Secondary School for Administration and Services (three-year system).
  • Tourism and Hotels Secondary School Diploma (five-year system), with eligibility for direct admission to the second year.
  • Technical Hotel Institute Diplomas.
  • Technical Commercial Institute Diplomas.
  • Hotel Institute Diplomas (EGOTH).

Transfers from equivalent institutes may be accepted into the second or third year, subject to academic regulations.

Third: Holders of Arab and International Certificates

Students holding Arab or international certificates are admitted through the official electronic coordination system.

Documents & Required Papers

  • Completed application form (available from the institute’s administration).
  • A copy of the national ID card, or a passport for non-Egyptian students.
  • Military Form 2 (fully stamped) — for male students only.
  • Original birth certificate.
  • Original academic qualification certificate.
  • Six recent passport-size photographs (4×6 cm).
  • Military Form 6 (fully stamped) — for male students only.
  • Approval from the International Students Affairs Department (for international students only).
  • A medical report (internal medicine and eye examination), officially stamped, required for applicants to the Tourism & Hospitality Division.
